You'd better believe it, I have myself a couch and a matching chair. Granted they were free from a long line of female hand-me-down-age but its soft, its sit-on-able, and it's mine.

Congratulations on your new arrival(s)! I remember my first "investment" of buying furniture. . .they were the couch/loveseat set in our basement that I got new for $299. I was so proud and felt so adult. . .of course, that was nearly 7 years ago. (I feel so old. . .)
Suddenly I don't feel so badly about myself- there ARE some things you can't do, after all. Interior design, for example. :) Those are some real treasures, Greggy. Worthy of the front cover of Martha Stewart Living, to be sure.
They aren't much to look at, but considering they were free they look like they are in great shape. You could always splurge on some slipcovers . . .
I think they look great! Of course Gregg is looking over my shoulder as I write this! Great to have you here pup!
