So, here I was, just minding my own business, trying to record some audio and getting frustrated by the seemly endless string of planes that were flying over my apartment. It turns out it was a police helicopter that was circling my complex, spotlighting a building about 75 yards away from mine.
It was so exciting, I had to whip out the camera and record a little low-res footy to the laptop (it wasn't valuable enough to use the HD tape which ends up being about 200mb a minute uncompressed).

We lovingly called ours "The Ghetto Patrol" in Colorado Springs. However, ours visited much more regularly. Try daily.
Nice, that would have made for some great footage! Personal safety on the other hand...bla, who needs that.
