5 Weeks...1 Bag of Trash (Rubbish)

Not that i'm getting sore from hugging trees, but I have become much more environmentally aware over the last year or two. Aside from the fun of riding a bike, it is nice to do my part to help pullution and global warming. I also try to conserve energy by turning off lights when I don't need them and washing dishes by hand. My latest endeavor was to try to not fill more than one trash bag full of my garbage during my first three weeks in my apartment. Well, I hit a home run lasting a total of 5 weeks to the day. I'm pretty proud of myself. Some of my other ideas are to try to go fridge-less for a week, try to go completely trashless for a week, and try to limit myself to one tank of gas a month once it warms up. Fun challenges.
